Jerry has over forty years of experience as a certified public accountant. Most of those years he has specialized in tax as a tax partner with a national CPA firm and the past twenty years as head of Epping and Associates. His experience includes working with manufacturing and distribution companies, real estate and construction companies, and not for profits. Jerry has worked extensively with multi-national companies as well as closely-held family companies.
Jerry has participated on multiple due diligence teams involved with millions of dollars of corporate acquisitions over the years. He also has extensive experience in representing clients through tax audits being performed by the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities.
Over the years he has served on the boards of numerous civic and not for profit boards, including serving as president of the Mecklenburg Area Catholic School Board, the Tarradiddle Players, River Hills Country Club, and the River Hills Lions Club and River Hills Lions Charities.
Jerry is a graduate of Thomas More College and holds an MBA degree from the University of Cincinnati. He is a CPA licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
