After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Julie spent four productive years at Price Waterhouse (now PwC) auditing middle market companies. She made the switch to tax when she joined her father (Jerry Epping) in practice in 1997. At that time she also went back to school and earned her Masters in Accountancy with a concentration in Taxation from UNC-Charlotte.
Julie served on the Board of Directors of the Notre Dame Alumni Association (1998-2001) and has filled various positions for the Notre Dame Club of Charlotte over the years, including earning person of the year in 1998. She has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Room At the Inn from 2009-2011. Julie is a licensed CPA in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
When not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and keeping up with their energetic toddler. Julie expends her spare energy on the tennis court, cheering on the Fighting Irish, or traveling.
